Cultivating Presence & Kindness

Mindfulness in Education’s mission is to strengthen youth’s learning capacity, mental wellbeing, empathy, and ability to thrive and contribute by teaching mindfulness skills to students, teachers, and families.

Mindfulness in Education teaches mindfulness tools to students, teachers and families to foster stronger relationships and healthier minds.

Words from Helen M. Knight Elementary 4th & 6th Grade Students:

  • “Mindfulness helps me to not fight with my friends.”

  • “I use mindfulness to calm down when I am angry, nervous or scared. It has changed how I feel by not saying rude things to myself.”

  • “Because of mindfulness I have a happier life and am more confident about myself.”

  • “It makes my heart feel relaxed.”

  • “Mindfulness makes me feel calm and awake. It helps me be not so stressed and stay in the present so I don’t miss the really important moments in life.”

We appreciate your support in cultivating more kindness & presence!
